Welfare Check/Vulnerable Adult: Gerald W. Buchholtz
Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies are attempting to locate and check on the welfare of 75-year-old Gerald W. Buchholtz and are asking the public for help.
Family members of Gerald W. Buchholtz reported him missing and requested a welfare check.
They explained Buchholtz moved to Spokane from the Missoula, Montana area due to health concerns within the last few days. He left their residence, located near Upriver Drive and N. Argonne Avenue, on September 28, 2026, at approximately 9:30 am and has not returned.
His family is extremely concerned because he didn’t say anything about his plans when he left; he did not take his wallet or prescription medications. He also has memory issues and may not remember directions, which could lead to him becoming lost. They advised that he does not have a cell phone.
Buchholtz is believed to be driving his white 2003 Chevy Blazer with Montana license plates G2604.
Gerald W. Buchholtz is described as a 75-year-old White Male, approximately 5’06”, 160 lbs., with brown hair and green eyes. He was believed to be wearing a gray or brown coat and gray sweatpants when he left last Monday morning.
His family does not know where Gerald was going or what his plans were, but this is not normal behavior for him, and they are very concerned. They do not know whether he is still in the Spokane County area or if he traveled to Oregon or Montana, where he has family.
